Nicolaos Theodossiou was born in Famagusta Cyprus. He studied Civil Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in Greece, where he acquired his Ph.D.

Norah Magero is a Mechanical Engineer and a Renewable Energy Expert with experience in the design and management of off-grid energy technologies. She is passionate about energy access in Africa. She has spent the past 7 years innovating decentralized solutions for use in rural communities and promoting gender inclusion and equality within the space. She is the Co-founder and CEO of Drop Access, a social enterprise that develops and provides practical and affordable energy solutions for rural, remote, off-grid and low-income communities in Kenya. Drop Access promotes productive use of energy, PUE, amongst rural off-grid communities by providing access and financing for solar cold storage solutions and solar water pumping. It also promotes the adoption of clean cooking through the sale and distribution of clean cookstoves to underserved communities and integrates women and youth empowerment into these initiatives. Norah is also the project lead of VacciBox; a portable and IoT/AI-enabled solar-powered cold chain technology that is being used to store, transport and track vaccines in rural and off-grid areas in Kenya. She is an alumna of the Young African Leaders Initiative, YALI, the Microgrid Academy, the United Nations Institute of Training and Research (UNITAR), Future Females Business School by UK-Kenya Tech Hub and Acumen. She holds several awards and recognitions: Women in Energy, Philanthropy Award winner 2017, 2020 Social Impact Award and the overall award, Energy Champion of the year Award by the World Energy Day-Kenya, the Microgrid Academy Award winner 2020 by the Res4Africa Foundation. Norah also won the Innovation Award 2021 by Africa Queen of Energy Awards. Currently, through her innovation: VacciBox, Norah is a finalist for the Africa Prize by the Royal Academy of Engineers, UK, and was commended by the President of Kenya for her effort to bring energy access in rural communities in Kenya.
