Over 30 years of experience in the Brazilian and European electricity sectors. She is an accomplished Electrical Engineer, having earned her degree from Poli-USP in 1989. She holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Machinery (1992) from the same institution, a Master's Degree in Renewable Energies from the University of Oldenburg, Germany (1994), and a PhD in Energy from USP (2002). Her leadership and business acumen are reinforced by an MBA from IESE/ISE (2008) in Brazil/Spain and advanced management training from GE Crotonville University in New York (2016).
Currently, Rosana serves as the Executive Director of the E+ Energy Transition Institute and collaborates in postgraduate courses at the University of São Paulo (USP), FIA and Fisul. She has previously been a researcher at FGV CERI (2022) and worked at Enel Brasil as Director of Regulatory Strategy and Planning (2019-2021). Her experience in the wind turbine industry includes roles as Director of Sales, Products, and Business Development with Alstom and GE (2012-2019).
Rosana also held key positions at EDP Group, where she contributed to the Brazilian electricity sector by leading wind projects, including the commercial operation of the first wind MW in the Brazilian electricity mix. Earlier in her career, she was involved in the design and implementation of the Light for All Program at MME (2002-2005) and worked at CIRED in France (1996-1998). Her career began at Siemens as a Service and Commissioning Engineer, followed by six years in Europe dedicated to academia and consulting.
