The City of Oakland revises development requirements to require the implementation of as many transportation demand management (TDM) strategies as feasible by developers of new buildings.

The City of Oakland collaborates with AC Transit, BART, Emery-Go-Round, and the local community to implement the broad array of transit improvements identified in the West Oakland Specific Plan.

In Feb. 2021 OakDOT submitted applications to ACTC's Capital Investment Program for the West Oakland Transit Improvements project to upgrade 13 bus stops in West Oakland, and the Subcommittee heard a presentation from AC Transit on the status of each of the eleven projects called out in the West Oakland Specific Plan (WOSP) and prioritized projects by high, medium, and low.
