Ms. Cristiana La Marca
Actual position: Head of Environment in the HSEQ function of the Group.
She has been working in Enel for more than twenty years holding leadership position such as Head of Innovation of Global Thermal Generation and Head of Research and Development of Global Generation.
La Marca has coordinated EU funded projects and Working Groups in International Associations at European level.

Erik Gjernes is a senior advisor at Gassnova, the Norwegian state enterprise for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS). He is currently working with the Technology Centre Mongstad (TCM) in Norway and CLIMIT, the Norwegian RD&D CCS programme. Emi leads the development of initiatives and programs in energy system decarbonisation, electricity sector transition and net zero energy planning in Southeast Asia and Australia, and works closely with policy makers, industry stakeholders, research communities and think tanks; facilitating knowledge collaboration, and capacity building, aiming to strengthen the links between energy and climate. Emi is recognized as a decentralized energy system and energy transition expert, participating in a number of research and advisory projects, in foresighting and planning for net zero energy systems, socio-economic aspects of distributed and decentralised energy infrastructure, community energy, and consumer-centric service innovations in the utility sector. She also leads the development of ASEAN-Australia Capacity Building Workshop Series on Energy and Climate, helping to address capacity needs to implement NDCs and net zero goals in ASEAN, particularly around sustainable finance in the clean energy sector, integrated energy and climate planning, and electricity market and carbon market design. She also facilitated community and private sector participation in the low-carbon energy transition. Emi has over 15 years’ experience in energy consulting and research, and previously worked as an energy market specialist in Australia, Asia-Pacific and Europe, spending time at the Australian Energy Market Operator, consultancies, utilities and energy trading houses. Emi has a PhD focusing on Energy System Transition from the University of New South Wales. She also holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School in Australia and a Master of Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
