"Sensitive Guys" by MJ Kaufman Auditions
Theatre Unchained is again excited to bring this new show to Indianapolis! Our auditions will be held at the IFFringe Theatre located at 719 E St Clair St, Indianapolis, IN 46202 in the Blackbox Theatre (formerly the Indy11 Theatre). Joe Wagner will be the Director and Megan Ann Jacobs will be acting as Director Mentor. This form acts as both your headshot and resume! That's right, no more spending money on printing your headshots and resumes when you work for Theatre Unchained! Auditions will consist of actors cold reading sides from the script. NO PREPARED MATERIAL IS REQUIRED. It is not required to read the script, but if you would like to it can be found on our Work With Us page on our website theatreunchained.org. SYNOPSIS: "The Men’s Peer Education group at Watson College is dedicated to unpacking and exposing male privilege. These “sensitive guys” believe that through increased self-awareness they can end sexual violence on campus; but when a shocking rumor surfaces, the group is shaken to the core. Sensitive Guys features a cast of women and gender nonconforming actors, double-cast as male and female characters, who try to understand men who are trying to understand masculinity." PAY: All roles are contracted and have a guaranteed stipend of $100 and will receive a % profit share.
