Following the murder of George Floyd, brands began releasing statements condemning police brutality and racism.

What happens after the topic stops trending? How do we keep brands accountable?
ā
A friend and I made this Airtable as a template for personally following through with the brands we support.
ā
The first table serves as the brand accountability tab. It contains a list of brands, the industry they are in, the date of the statement, a link to statement, and contact information. The second view of this base serves as a progress to see if the brand made a statement or not.
ā
The second table serves as a list of professionals who work in the DEI space.
ā
As individuals we have purchasing power. When brands we support do not have the values that we support, we can keep track and follow up. Follow up with questions or even follow up with a list of DEI professionals the company can engage with.

If you decide to join Airtable, consider using my referral link. This will help cover costs for my paid account. Thank you.
