Christmas Gift Tracking

This Christmas gift tracking base will help keep you track as you collect ideas and purchase and wrap gifts for friends and family.

It makes it easy to build and organize your list of ideas, organize lists according to person, keep track of purchases and spending, and streamline your entire shopping process.

Keeping track of gifts ordered online can be especially cumbersome, especially if you have lots of people to buy for - now you need to keep track of what is ordered and received and what has still not arrived and which online retailer you ordered it from. This template is especially well-suited for online shopping and includes a status column for gifts that are just ideas, ordered, received, wrapped and column for retailer.

There's even a way to mark a gift as purchased by someone else or yourself, which I find especially helpful for our family that includes several kids, where I've shared ideas with Grandparents. I can mark that someone else purchased that gift, and it falls off my list of remaining ideas but doesn't get included in my other views that are meant for my own tracking.

Different views make it easy to see drilled down views of whatever you want, including:

-- gifts purchased by person with running total (spent) for each person

-- gifts that are still in "ordered" status (as in not yet received)

-- which gifts you've wrapped and what you have left to go

One master list makes it easy to add stuff on the fly. It's setup to be simple and easy to use and update. The Airtable app means you can even manage and update and track on the fly while shopping from your phone! And the best part about Airtable versus any app you might find in an app store, is you can customize this to your needs.
