The best furniture planner

The only thing worse than moving is the process of outfitting your new digs. We were determined to avoid the furniture fueled frustration that too often limits the potential of a great apartment, so we built this base.

It helps you plan a vibe, collaborate with roommates on what to buy, and track your spending so you don't break the bank.

Here's hoping it turns some houses into homes.

Set up

  1. Populate the < All rooms > table with a list of rooms in your space
  2. Populate the < Items / All items > view with everything you think you'll need to furnish your home, what room it'll live in, and whether or not it's mission-critical.

Keeping track of potential options

  • As you and your roommates get hunting, drop links, prices, pictures and notes in the < Options / All options > view.
  • The < Options / Options gallery > view let's you visualize your picks like a Pinterest board.
  • To see what a collection of options would look like together, click into their cards, check < Potential Option? > and head over to the < Options/ Select options gallery > view.

Pulling the trigger

  • When you're ready to commit to an option, check the < Committed? > field. Watch your new home start to take shape in the < Options / Committed gallery > view!

Covering all your bases and tracking spend

  • As you check things off your list, you can refer back to the < Items / Necessary items checklist > to see how much you've spent and what you still need to buy
