Recipes & Meal Plans

Explore

A base for all your food stuff… recipes, meal plan, tips and tricks around the kitchen too! I made this as simple as possible while still keeping the important information I need. Entering recipes is quick and easy using the pop out forms.

Recipes

a Gallery view as the default, giving recipes a Pinterest-like feel, with grid secondary for data entry. A ratings column lets you record how the dish was received. We have 5 people in the family so ours is a star for each person who said they liked it.

You can add recipes to a meal plan from here as well. Click on a recipe to open the pop-out. Scroll down and choose LINK TO A RECORD FROM MEAL PLAN. Click ADD NEW RECORD at the bottom. The name and all the details are already completed. All you need to do is choose which meal and pick the date!

UPDATE: I removed the Meal Plan tab, as I found it redundant. Instead there is now a calendar view under Recipes and a date column for your meal plan there. Much simpler! You can still drag and ddrop on the calendar view and if you have the pro plan you can set it up to view the meal plan with the category colors as well.

Meal Plan

a calendar by default - premium users, use the color coding for the category column and see your calendar color coded by meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Choose a recipe, add the date (weekdays fill in automatically), and choose a meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, or add your own).

This tab is mostly a copy of the Recipes tab with date information added.

Tips

a list of all those tips and tricks you pick from various places but can never remember. Not only can you record these now you can properly credit the source when someone asks how you found out that nifty trick!
