Tomer Sharon, the head of User Experience at WeWork and author of the books Validating Product Ideas and It's Our Research, considers Polaris "one of my greatest career achievements". This open-source version of Polaris will let you get a closer look at the Airtable base powering Sharon's innovative UX methodology.

The Polaris nugget database is a live representation of the WeWork member experience. By documenting observations and their corresponding evidence as "nuggets", we can filter and sort our collective knowledge about who our members are to answer fundamental questions such as, "Why do people join WeWork?" "What do members value most?" "Why do members leave?" and "How do we make members feel?"

One of the most important decisions we make as a company is where to focus our collective energy; the answer to the question: What should We work on? The nugget database helps us do so.

This version of Polaris has been redacted and fictionalized, but the structure is the same as the nugget base we use internally.
