Lesson Scheduling for My Violin/Viola Studio

Explore

This year, I streamlined lesson scheduling for my large (30+) studio of violin and viola students by creating this base. I estimate it has saved me at least 15 hours of back-and-forth emailing! I sent my studio families the form via email, and they filled out their preferred lesson times, assuming that lesson times stay the same after the first week of classes. Then I was able to view those time ranges in the calendar view, to see who could go where. To encourage families to respond, I even had a little raffle, and parents who submitted their form before the cutoff (using the time stamp field), could win an iTunes gift card.

Now that I have all this data, if families need to switch times in the future, I will be able to give them some options.

I teach violin and viola lessons and group classes in St. Louis, MO using the Suzuki Method. I'm using AirTable to track each student's progress and to help with scheduling and organization.
