STORY: I created this base when my company was releasing a new product and we had LOTS of new training materials for our both our Customer Success team and our customers - PDFs, presentations, videos in 3 locations, material in 2 languages for 3 different regions globally. A total mess. This Airtable base let everyone find everything they need quickly and easily. It was so popular we expanded it to all marketing and product marketing materials.

USING THE BASE:
This base allows marketing (or any collateral creating department) to know what resources they have published and shared. Tags for language, product, target audience, format type, and more allow for quickly filtering and sorting to find the material needed. It is set up for multi-language and multi-region situations.

Using a shared read only view, any internal people can quickly search and FIND the resources that they are looking for without being able to add or delete listed resources.

Using a link to get to the materials directly, this index can be used with multiple document and asset management schemes without having to reorganize folders or move material together.

There are some additional fields for when you are ready for a material review and makeover. like after a Brand Identity change. Update Status (Is it Used?, Logo/color change, archive, content change…)
