Once you complete the template, use it! You are free to modify the many existing Airtable CRM examples already built. I highly encourage you to do so first.

I worked for over 20 years as a Sales Manager in a 20 billion dollar company. I know the pitfalls to avoid when building a working CRM tool. You want a CRM that you or your sales team will use. Its critical that a tool actually benefits your sales team. Dont assume that the more you spend on a CRM the more your sales team will use it. Its just not the case.

ā€‹

Your process should be basic:

ā€‹

  • Import contacts (Customers)
  • Add new contacts (Prospects)
  • Log interactions related to those contacts (Calls, emails, visits)
  • Have a plan for the next interaction (Opportunities)
  • Plan and coach for improvement using a simple tool (Weekly coaching call around logged interactions)
  • Measure the success or shortfall of your team

ā€‹

Most CRM tools become a "check the box". Don't make the mistake of "bloating" a simple process. If you have not heard the term "feature creep" please schedule a free phone call with me. You will thank me and we can both be on our way.

ā€‹

If you need help designing an easy, low cost, effective CRM in Airtable schedule a one on one Zoom with me. The cost is $100 and depending on how much fun we are having I set aside at least one hour.
