Overview

Communication among team members is the force that drives projects forward, the glue that keeps project teams in sync, and the connection that enables strategic planning. Even the most experienced project managers struggle with project management as their list of team members and important stakeholders grows.

This template provides project managers a streamlined stakeholder management tool. Stakeholder analysis, also known as a power/interest grid, is an important technique for identifying key stakeholders and their needs. It's important to consider the relative importance of each project stakeholder - high power or low power; decision making responsibility or just a team member. Additionally, consider which stakeholder is most invested in your project - high interest or low interest; part of the project team or a project sponsor. This analysis technique will classify key players into stakeholder groups that require different levels of communication.
