Only goes back to 2014. Officers who work undercover won't be listed. There are no unique identifiers listed so difficult to match officers over the years
Data is posted publicly to this website bi-annually. If they are late, you can send a FOIA to the Office of Payroll Administration and they will post it online. https://data.cityofnewyork.us/City-Government/Citywide-Payroll-Data-Fiscal-Year-/k397-673e

CCRB Disciplinary Hearings
Online calendar of hearings: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/ccrb/prosecution/apu-trials.page
New York Police Department
Misconduct Data
Hearings are only for cases where allegations were substantiated and officer chooses to go to administrative trial rather than accepting a plea. When attending these hearings, we can only write a summary about what was heard but do not get any tangible documentation of it
Review trial calendar posted on the first of each month. Sit it on each trial and take notes on the case
Public
While the trials are public, our notes summaries should not be shared as factual and should only be used to determine if you should seek a subpoena for the full case file.
Trial calendar is often wrong or trial dates change last minute. Takes a team of interns to be able to go and sit in on each hearing
Repealing 50-A would allow us to FOIA the CCRB investigations rather than sitting in on hearings. But a smaller win would be having the disciplinary hearings livestreamed or at least a trial calendar updated accurately and timely
Each data set includes past 5 years and is released bi-annually. It only includes four categories of police misconduct and both the department and individual officers need to be named in the case. This may exclude lawsuits that allege things like employment discrimination. Data set also only includes generic case information but not any documents, which need to be downloaded on PACER/State court sites
Go to website on January and July 1st and download new spreadsheet: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/law/public-resources/nyc-administrative-code-7-114.page
