Dallas Device Challenge

Thank you for pledging to donate your computer to the Dallas Device Challenge! Comp-U-Dopt, CARDBoard Project, and the Dallas Innovation Alliance have partnered to refurbish your devices and get them back out to community members in need. We are currently only accepting devices less than five years old including desktops, laptops, all-in-ones, or tablets (excluding iPads). We do NOT accept printers, phones, or CRT Monitors, or docking stations. Please complete your information below, our staff will reach out to you to set up an appointment for pick-up (when donating 25 or more devices) or drop off. Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.

COE Required?
All of our donations are wiped to a Department of Defense standard. A Cerificate of Erasure is available upon request . Would you like a certificate of erasure for your donation? We only provide a COE for Desktops, Laptops, and All-in-ones.
Donor Waiver
As required under the IRS Tax Code, you certify that you received neither goods nor services in consideration in whole or in part for your gift to Comp-U-Dopt. The federal tax identification number for Comp-U-Dopt is 26-1460311.
Chain of Custody Acknowlegement
All equipment received from Customer are owned by said Customer and are of clear title and hereby turned over to Comp-U-Dopt free and clear of any lien, encumbrance, or claim. Your electronic equipment may contain personal and/or sensitive information. Therefore, Comp-U-Dopt will ensure the removal of asset tags and the erasure, or destruction, of all hard drives and will assume liability for data security services up to $5 million. All services will be performed according to local, state, and federal electronic recycling guidelines. Please check the box in agreement to the above statement
