I prefer mail, my English is poor, I have difficulty following a conversation, I prefer mail, written questions, then I translate and answer.
At the moment I think we're in the redesign and testing phase. As I said before, I'll ask you later.

I'm collaborating with a friend on two respirator projects, one mechanical and one pneumatic. I've been collaborating for 3 days, and I don't know exactly which projects they are. I'll ask him later.

Electrical Design experience (PCB) for embedded application
Made the first prototype.
Some of the changes: 1 adapted the gear ration for locally available motors.
Put all 3 cams so you don't have to change them out.
Product designer.
tools we have: CNC router machine, laser cutter, laths, wood working tools
Developed valves for the system. Going to start other parts....

Just starting. Have some BVMs and have ordered electronics. My greatest upcoming challenge is to find a design that has any hope of being useful, with some kind of emergency FDA temporary approval to be used in extreme situations. So if the MIT or Rice groups don't figure this out, but some other design does, I'm willing to switch.
I am an Electrical Engineer (BSEE) and Software Engineer with lots of experience with microcontrollers, and I'm also an avid maker. I have access to a shop for wood and some metal, laser cutter, sewing machines & 3d printers.

Very preliminary. My premise is this; If this all gets very bad and people need ventilators in their home it would be ideal if they could get one that would be an attachment to their kitchen aid mixer. The mechanical hardware of a kitchen aid mixer is professional grade and probably millions already exist in peoples home. Leverage that with an attachment ventilator that would also be robust and simple to adjust and it might save lives. Hopefully the R&D dept. at Whirlpool Corporation is already
Mechanical Engineer and Solidworks Cad jockey with over 20 years of experience designing machines for automation, lab research, aerospace, agriculture, patent applications, and less glamourous things like shop carts and jigs. I have my own seat of Solidworks and a 3D printer that does great with PLA.
