Great understanding and use of light and colour Complete understanding of the 2D animation process Excellent communicator A solid understanding of colour space principles Examples of compositing 2d animation and full CG Examples of Paintings, or Illustrations. Examples of Animation/motion graphics After Effects and Photoshop skills Experience with particle systems ❍ ❏ ❍ ❏ ❍ ❏ ❍ ❏ ❍ ❏ ❍ ❏ ❍ ❏ ❍ ❏ ❍ ❏ ❍ ❏ ❍ ❏ About the Job You will join the compositing team on commercial or in-house jobs, from project setup to project completion. As primarily a 2D animation studio the bulk of our work as compositors will be integrating traditional hand-drawn animation exported from TVPaint as layers into paintings exported as layers from Photoshop. Other tasks include: Animating camera moves either as simple 2D transforms or 3D multiplane scenes with camera projections and geo created in nuke or 3d. Integrate 3d assets rendered as AOVs into painted BGS Creating particle effects in Trapcode particular with after effects. Reorganizing and exporting photoshop layers to suit your comp. Strong communication skills are of the utmost importance.
