Registry of Regulatory Approved Radiology and Diagnostic AI Technologies Deployed in the UK NHS.
The RCR has a vital role to play in the development and integration of regulatory approved AI tools that complement clinical imaging pathways and that enable safe and efficient practice. Clinicians and managers are invited to enter details of radiological imaging and diagnostic AI products and platforms deployed in their departments for clinical, research/trial and other activities. There are many anticipated benefits of a national registry including tracking the spread of AI tools, enabling audit at scale and other opportunities for collaboration including activities supporting real-world evidence generation, together with providing visibility of what has been adopted elsewhere in the NHS to those considering adoption options. Development of the Registry is funded through the Department of Health and Social Care, overseen by the NHS AI Lab and is a UK-wide first. A development version of the Registry is available via the RCR website. Constructive user feedback is welcome. Please complete a separate form here for each regulatory approved AI product in use in your Radiology service. Collected data is subject to RCR Data Protection Policy. Private data fields (such as contact details enabling routine registry management) are indicated on the online form during data entry and will not be shared publicly. Entry of data is regarded as consenting to data being stored by the RCR in accordance with its Data Protection Policy.
