Recruitment of Invasive Species Information Reviewers

The OISC is developing an online database ('hub') of available invasive species information. The hub has different metrics which can be queried, such as species status in Oregon, introduction or dispersal pathways of concern, suitable habitat, or combinations of multiple metrics to filter the information. This hub also provides links to other resources, providing users access to additional information. The OISC's information hub will provide invasive species specialists opportunities to connect and share information, allowing better preparation and rapid response to invasive species threats at various scales. We are looking for people familiar with invasive species and experts regarding taxa/taxa groups to review species for the Invasive Species Information Hub. Please fill out this form about your related experience and ability. We anticipate that you will be asked to provide quarterly feedback on species summary information that is being published by the OISC. We may also reach out to you periodically to ask questions about timely issues regarding a particular species or species group and invite you to a limited number of relevant meetings or events.
