Description

Build a DeFi protocol using Band Protocol price feed oracle.

In this challenge, we’d like to see you and your team build a DeFi protocol using Band Protocol price feed oracle. Example qualifying protocols are:

a.Stablecoin

b.Synthetic assets (bitcoin, stock, commodities, and their short & leveraged counterparts)

c.Lending

d.Margin trading

e.Decentralized exchange with advanced trade orders (stop-limit, trailing-stop, orders triggered by external signals such as fear & greed)

f.Insurance

Submission Requirements

1.All code must be open source

2.A minimally viable demo is encouraged but proof-of-concept are also accepted.

Judging Criteria

1.We encourage projects to demonstrate a clear go-to-market and substantial differentiation from existing DeFi protocols.

2.The best submissions, as voted on by the judges, will ultimately be the winners!

Use nft.storage (decentralized storage for NFT metadata and assets) or web3.storage (decentralized storage for general data) to provide persistent storage for your dApp using IPFS and Filecoin. Feel free to use them as the persistence layer for one of the other challenges. Learn more at http://docs.web3.storage and https://nftschool.dev/ and stay tuned for more upcoming tutorials.

Submission Requirements

1. Project Description

The name and summary of the project.
Names/pseudonyms of team members and contact info (e.g., GitHub handle)
How the project uses web3.storage or nft.storage

2. Link to the publicly visible (preferably open) source code repository

Provide comprehensive README, incl. a clear description of the work
Mention web3.storage or nft.storage in the application, and how they are being used in the Technologies Used section of README
Include a link to the working demo or provide a testing guide

3. Showcase

2-3 minute video that presents the idea

NOTE:

Broken links will disqualify the project from the judging process.
Projects should only submit for prize consideration once across different hackathons

Judging Criteria

Our judges grade submissions across four equally-weighted categories: 1) Design, 2) Novelty/Originality, 3) Daily/Mass Usability, 4) Creativity/Fun. Prizes will be paid out in a combination of NEAR and FIL.
