Adapting Violence in/from 'Classic' Texts

Thank you for your interest in this workshop. We look forward to reading your proposal. For conference papers, we request a title and 200-word abstract; for text explorations, please provide a brief extract of the proposed text and a 200-word abstract with context and potential questions. Please note that there is no option to save this form, so please ensure that you have saved your responses elsewhere. Should you wish to submit both a text exploration and a conference paper for consideration, please submit this form twice. The deadline for submissions is 15 December 2021. Should you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to email us at adaptingviolence@gmail.com.

Optional, for internal use only. There won't be a centralised list - you'll have the opportunity to specify, or not, in your Zoom handles.
Here's the timeanddate.com event details page for the first welcome + plenary session ( https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Adapting+Violence&iso=20220324T13&p1=270&ah=3 ). Red asterisks are in DST at the time. We'll check again after accepting participants in case of changes and/or specific clashes.

There are a few limits on our accessibility options (chiefly, that we can't afford live captioning). We'll be happy to look into alternative participation if the options we have don't work for you - but we'd rather customise that to the needs of the group we have, rather than guessing wildly. For timing issues *aside* from time zone constraints (eg: you know you're teaching at x time), we'll seek those after acceptance.
