I support affordable housing at 270 W. Second St.

270 W. Second Street is currently a fish processing plant that has been a blight on the neighborhood for decades. The site owner is proposing a five-story, 81-unit building on the site and has agreed to only the bare minimum 13 percent of Inclusionary Development (IDP) Units. South Boston NDC is pushing for 17 percent IDP units. Working people in South Boston need more affordable housing. A single person earning $60,000 a year or a family of three earning $76,000 can't afford to live here. Help us support more affordability at 270 W. Second St. by signing the petition below and joining South Boston residents in demanding more affordable housing. Thank you for your support!
