Limiting police use of tear gas & munitions against communities

In 2021, Oregon state legislators passed into law House Bill 2928, which limited police use of tear gas & munition weapons against protestors & communities. Currently, the City of Portland & League of Oregon Cities are trying to weaken this law. They say that police believe they cannot use tear gas & munition weapons because of this law. So, they are asking state legislators to weaken this law. Please fill out this form if you oppose the weakening of this law - if you want this law to protect protestors & communities from police use of tear gas & munition weapons.
