Superhost Ambassador Videos

Airbnb is offering you the opportunity to have your submitted video clips (“Submissions”) be edited by third-party editors and/or Airbnb to create finished, edited introductory videos ("Edited Content") for use on the Airbnb Platform. Airbnb reserves the right to alter these Superhost Intro Video Terms at any time; accordingly, you should review these terms in full each time you provide a new Submission. By checking the box below and uploading your Submission, you acknowledge the Airbnb Privacy Policy and you agree to the Airbnb Terms of Service (“Airbnb Terms”) and the following additional terms: You agree to allow Airbnb and/or third-party editors to transform, edit, or otherwise modify your Submissions to create the Edited Content and to distribute, transmit, publish, communicate to the public, broadcast, perform, display, or otherwise use the Edited Content without your further review or approval, including by posting the Edited Content on the Airbnb Platform to feature you as a Superhost and/or participant in the Ask a Superhost program. You grant Airbnb and its affiliates the right to use your username, real name, image, likeness, descriptions of you, performance, statements, location or other identifying information, including but not limited to your voice, in connection with any use of the Edited Content. Airbnb shall own the Edited Content and may use the Edited Content in its sole and absolute discretion for any business purpose, including without limitation, advertising, marketing, merchandising or any other business purposes, throughout the world, in any and all media. Airbnb is under no obligation to use the Edited Content or to otherwise promote you as a Superhost. Airbnb grants to you a non-exclusive, limited, revocable, non-transferable, royalty-free license to use the Edited Content for the sole purpose of advertising and promoting your involvement in the Ask a Superhost program on the Airbnb Platform, provided you will cease using the Edited Content in the event that you lose Superhost status or are no longer affiliated with the Ask a Superhost program. As far as the law permits, you agree to waive and not to assert any rights to be identified as author, to object to any modification, or to control the publication of any part of the Submissions or Edited Content. You agree that you do not acquire any ownership or other rights in proprietary information and materials of Airbnb, including the Edited Content, by authorizing use of your Submissions. Your participation in this video program is considered part of your participation in the Ask a Superhost program, and you acknowledge the sufficiency and receipt of good and valuable consideration for your participation in the program. You acknowledge that the Submissions and Edited Content may include your personal data and you understand that, based on Airbnb’s legitimate interest to promote Airbnb and the Airbnb Platform, Airbnb may process such personal data in various ways (including, but not limited to, storing it, publishing it on Airbnb’s website and in promotional materials). You agree that your personal data will be handled in accordance with Airbnb’s Privacy Policy. You agree that your Submissions (i) do not use the name, logo, branding, trademarks, copyrighted materials or other intellectual property of Airbnb or other third parties without permission; and (ii) otherwise meet all Airbnb standards and requirements, including any requirements specifically related to this video editing process and the Ask a Superhost program. You are responsible for ensuring that your Submissions do not violate the Airbnb Terms. You represent that any person featured in your Submissions has provided explicit consent for the use of their likeness by you and by Airbnb (in Airbnb’s sole discretion) in both the Submissions and Edited Content. You release, discharge and agree to hold Airbnb and any person acting on its behalf harmless from any liability related in any way to Airbnb’s use of your Submissions. You also agree that you are not entitled to any compensation for any claims arising out of Airbnb’s use of the Edited Content. You certify that you are at least 18 years of age. All capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given to them in the Airbnb Terms. Nothing in these Superhost Intro Video Terms will be construed to amend or contradict the Airbnb Terms unless explicitly stated. If there is a conflict between the Airbnb Terms and these Superhost Intro Video Terms, these Superhost Intro Video Terms control to the extent of such conflict. I agree to these Superhost Intro Video Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
