Libraries Student Advisory Council Application Form

The University Libraries Student Advisory Council is seeking new membership for the 2024-2025 academic year. All undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply. This year’s Student Advisory Council will focus on the importance of preserving your own CMU history by collecting key materials from student organizations across campus. Members will become trained Archives Ambassadors equipped to identify key stories from our diverse community here in Pittsburgh, and will then work with archivists to build relationships with and collect valuable materials from the variety of organizations they’re a part of on campus. The Libraries Student Advisory Council will meet four days each semester. Meetings will be held from 5–6 p.m. in Hunt Library. In-person attendance for all general council meetings is required. Please mark below if you have a conflict with any meeting dates.
