Mini-Vow Submission Form

Hello! Thank you for your interest in having your wedding featured in The New York Times. We are actively seeking couples with interesting, inspiring and diverse love stories that represent and reflect the world around us. Wedding announcements are now known as Mini-Vows (nytimes.com/column/mini-vows) and include a detailed account of your love story and wedding. Ideally, we’d like to receive your submission for review at least six weeks before the scheduled wedding ceremony. Mini-Vows are typically published within the two weeks following your ceremony. If selected, both partners will be contacted by a reporter about a week before or after your wedding for an initial phone interview to learn more about your relationship and wedding plans. Please note: Publication is not guaranteed, even if you’ve spoken to a reporter, and plans are subject to change at our discretion. If you were not selected for a Mini-Vow feature, your submission will remain active in our system and we may contact you about other future wedding or relationship articles, if you indicate that you are interested in being contacted for such stories at the bottom of this form. Due to the high volume of submissions, we are unfortunately not able to notify couples of their submission status. Please note: Submissions are discouraged if you are a current employee or family member of an employee of The New York Times. There is no guarantee that such submissions will be selected. Please skip the questions that don’t apply; not all answers are mandatory. Those that are have a red asterisk. (Illustration by Paola Saliby)

Please note: If you are having several ceremonies, please submit the date of the legal wedding, i.e. the date the marriage certificate is signed.
Is this your first legal marriage to each other?
Please only include the name of the person who will be signing your marriage certificate.
This is the person who signs the marriage license on the day of the legal ceremony.
By which religious or institutional organization is the officiant given the legal authority to solemnize the marriage and sign the marriage certificate?
For example: Member of the Clergy, Universal Life Church, American Marriage Ministries etc. For an interfaith event, include the names and affiliations of any other celebrant who will participate with the officiant, though please limit to only one other celebrant.
