After submitting forms, a 2-page personal statement, and a 4-page policy paper, I had a 30-minute in-person interview the first week of January with two staff workers in the Chicago Mayor's Office. It was completely behavioral - a few "tell me about a time" and a questino about why I wanted to work for the mayor's office. It is a very bureaucratic process: the two interviewers have 5 sheets of paper each, with 1 question and 3 sub-questions on each one. They write down everything you say a check

Multiple rounds of interviews. First round asks the questions below, and second round is more about your choice of placement and a few questions about why you're interested in the internship, sustainability broadly, etc. Then you might get a placement on the date they tell you or placement opportunities might pop up later. No room for negotiation as far as the company/ position they offer you (at least to my knowledge). First round applications due in December, second round due in the winter (ma

First round phone screen - focus on healthcare knowledge and understanding of the PFS case.
Second round was a written case - had 24 hours to prepare PPT and Excel doc based on two PFS questions. During the interview we walked through what I sent them.
Third round was a fit interview with head of Healthcare team.
This was this first time hiring an intern and that sometimes showed, but overall they were great to work with.

After submitting a resume, cover letter, and 1-page essay via the Kellogg Job Board, I was invited to CCA's downtown office for an interview. I interviewed with two separate people - one did a behavioral interview, and the other did a case interview. The behavioral interview included fairly predictable questions. I case-prepped a decent amount in advance of the case interview. The case had somewhat of a social impact angle, but could have easily been a case that any "traditional" consulting firm

The process was very unorganized
I had two basic phone interviews (2nd was longer) to speak about my experience, the role, and then some situational questions about a case
Every interview was difficult to schedule and she completely missed one of them
The 3rd round was with the team lead and he was 30 minutes late and then proceeded to be quite rude throughout the call

I had two rounds of case+behavioral interviews. My first round was with a current Booth student, who I had overlapping contacts with because of our involvement with CRED. My second round was with someone on REDF Staff. Both interviews were very enjoyable - mostly behavioral and ended with a case - the two were very similar to each other. The case format was more of a situation and then brainstorming things like revenue streams or risks - they asked questions to guide me along.
