"Same Old" Submission Form
Kate Antognini is now casting for the new Short Film "Same Old". “Same Old” follows Lu, an undocumented Asian immigrant who came to the US with his wife and son only 10 years ago. Exhausted, he works every day as a food delivery driver to support his family during the pandemic. After his bike is stolen, he desperately searches the streets of NY to find it - his only lifeline to keep his family afloat. NOW CASTING! Project: "Same Old" Short Film Talent Rate: $300-400 Per Day Supporting Role Rate: $250 Per Day Shoot dates: March TBD (1-4 days depending on the role, can work around actor's schedule) Shoot Location: NYC Breakdown: LU (Asian) Age 30-60: Male. Must be able to ride a bike comfortably. Must be fluent in their own cultural language. *Bonus if a real delivery driver* MING(Asian) Age 30-60: Female. Must be fluent in their own cultural language. GARAGE OWNER (Asian) 40+: Male. Must be fluent in their own cultural language. MOM (Asian) 70s: Female. Production will be adhering to strict COVID-19 precautions on-set to ensure the safety of all. The crew will also be wearing PPE and all cast and crew members will be tested on an ongoing basis.
