WGSST 1110H - Gender, Sex and Power, Honors
This course is designed to introduce students from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to the interdisciplinary field of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies. This course draws on a variety of literatures to analyze gender, race, sexuality, and other dimensions of identity; explores critical issues of gender, sex and power; and places the study of U.S. women and gender roles in broader transnational context. Required course for the WGSS major and minor. Honors version requires honors standing or permission of the instructor. Not open to students with credit for 1110.
