Focus is to reduce methane and CO2 emissions from anaerobic digestion (AD) through a combination of biotechnology and microalgae solutions. The AD industry is large (18,000 plants in Europe), but lacks a tailor-made biotechnology that allows the efficient processing of ligno-cellulosics (wood, cereal straw and grasses).
