ASHA for Women is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support to South Asian women living in abusive marriages and homes. Created in 1989 by South Asians to circumvent many of the language, cultural, and social barriers that can stop many from seeking help, ASHA has helped hundreds of women and children move on to lead safer, happier lives.
To provide the support that empowers South Asian women to become self-reliant and live in an abuse free future. ASHA serves women and children living in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia, with origins in the South Asian countries of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal , Pakistan and Sri Lanka.Our clients stem from various faiths including but not limited to Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Jainism.

Nepalese Association of Indiana (NAI) is a non-profit organization which is registered under the Section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code and operates to fulfil the goals and objectives outlined by its bylaws. It was established in 2010 with an objective to promote Nepali culture and brotherhood among the people of Nepali origin.
Throughout the year, NAI organizes a number of educational, social, cultural and sports activities. These activities allow the community members to get together and share their experiences, celebrate festivals and discuss difficulties faced by community members in their day to day life. Cultural, sports and poetry recitation events provide opportunities for the members, especially the younger ones, to show case their talent and learn from each other.

TSCI is a secular organization devoted to people in and around Indianapolis who has interest in Tamil language and culture. We are a non-profit cultural organization under charter 501(3)(c).
The primary mission of TSCI is the promotion and perpetuation of Tamil language and culture bu organizing social and cultural events, celebrating major Tamil festivals, teaching Tamil language to children, participation in and sponsorship of charitable causes. Membership in the Tamil Sangam is open to anyone who has an interest in Tamil language and culture. Activities organized by the sangam will enable our children to get exposed to Tamil language and culture.
