The National Care Force is a nationwide network of care providers, healthcare workers and volunteers ready to support the most vulnerable members of our society through the challenges we face due to coronavirus.

EMERGENCY APPEAL Right now we are supporting some of the most vulnerable patients with Covid-19 to give them the compassionate care they desperately need. Some of the symptoms are incredibly distressing and scary and our expert team of doctors, nurses and pastoral carers are best placed to help these patients with the critical care, medication and pain relief they need. Our counsellors will be on hand to provide emotional support for their families. We don’t have the funding for the extra staff and equipment this care demands and we need your help. Please help Thames Hospice to give our community the care it needs as this dreadful life-threatening disease spreads.

The Brett foundation is a Maidenhead based non for profit charity, supporting the Homeless and families that are living in poverty and those who have fallen on hard times.

I’m currently working with Frimley Park Hospital to get non-perishable food and hygiene products delivered to them every Thursday for ALL staff working there. Items needed - Pasta/rice - Pasta Sauces - Tinned food - such as beans, pasta, soup, lentils etc - Yummy Snacks - biscuits, Crisps, Noodles - Long life milk - Toilet roll - Shampoo/conditioner - Body wash - Deodorant - Razors - ToothBrushes - Handwash - Binbags - Kitchen Roll - Cleaning Products - bleach, toilet cleaner, kitchen spray etc And anything else you can think of. We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

People join Neighbourhood Watch for many different reasons, whether it is to improve safety around their home or to become part of a group and meet new people. It is widely regarded that being part of Neighbourhood Watch can: - Reduce / prevent local crime and disorder - Reduce fear of crime - Address issues relating to antisocial behaviour - Create safer neighbourhoods - Build community spirit and cohesion - Reassure members of the public - Enhance partnership working with other community groups - Assist in the detection and apprehension of criminals through members providing information to the police - Improve quality of life and the local environment

Help With COVID is a marketplace for people (especially engineers & software developers, bio, medicine, manufacturing) to find projects to contribute to, and for projects to find help.

NHS Volunteer Responders has been set up to support the NHS during the COVID-19 outbreak. To do this we need an 'army' of volunteers who can support the 1.5m people in England who are at most risk from the virus to stay well. Our doctors, nurses and other professionals will be able to refer people in to NHS Volunteer Responders and be confident that they have been matched with a reliable, named volunteer.

One of our local tailors has offered to produce non-surgical scrubs to donation to the Trust for their staff to wear. One scrub requires four metres of fabric. They are short of new poly cotton or cotton fabric.
