APPLICATION FOR SALES VENDORS AT THE OLD SONGS FESTIVAL

Thank you for your interest in the Old Songs Festival of Traditional Music and Dance. We consider sales vendor applicants in March each year. You must have a NYS Sales Tax number. The space available is 10' x 10'. All spaces are outdoors. You will need to supply your own canopy, tables, chairs, electrical cords and security. Your application will be considered and you will be contacted by April 15. As part of this application are asked to include photos of your setup. Please fill out the information required below. If you are accepted, you must be in attendance at the festival from Friday at 3:00 pm through Sunday at 5:00 pm. BOOTH REQUIREMENTS AND INFORMATION: Financial terms are 15% of your gross, or $100 minimum, whichever is higher, payable Sunday evening of the Festival. HOURS Vendors are expected to keep their booths open Friday, 3 pm – 10 pm; Saturday 10 am – 10 pm; Sunday 10 am – 4 pm as this is an integral part of the festival. BOOTH SPACE Booth size is approximately 10′ x 10′. PERSONNEL Free admission to the festival will be given to two adults working at each booth — this includes the craftsperson and 1 helper. Children under the age of 19 associated with adults working in the craft area are free of charge. Any other helpers attending the festival must purchase tickets. CAMPING There is camping space available on the festival grounds. Sign up for camping at crew.oldsongs.org. ARRIVAL TIME and SET-UP You can arrive at the festival Thursday from 6 pm – 9 pm, or Friday morning after 10 am. A NYS Sales Tax Number is a prerequisite for selling items at the Old Songs Festival.
