Explore the exhibition Prehistoric Spirals: Earthenware from Thailand and learn about the techniques used to protect and preserve art from over 2,000 years ago. Kids will create their own artwork and experiment with conservation tools to see how art is preserved.

In this workshop, we'll learn to use traditional “Suminigashi” black ink and colored alcohol inks to make designs on water and then transfer the images onto paper. No previous experience required. The finished products are perfect for book binding, making notecards, collage, scrapbooking, and even displaying on their own!
