Musicians and performers have lost a significant amount of work due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. With schools canceled and the world working from home, the question we keep hearing is "what do we do now?" Maestro Match is here to connect the world's greatest artists to people practicing social distancing.
We have over 700 incredible musicians on our roster. We use Airtable to help visitors quickly filter the roster by instrument, age taught, experience level, language and more in order to find the perfect teacher for them.
Ohio is a leader and a beacon of light for our nation in fighting the COVID-19 Pandemic. It is no secret that our PPE supply is dangerously low, with no end of the shortage in sight. Hospitals, Urgent Care centers, EMS providers, and clinics across Ohio are desperately seeking alternative methods of disposable PPE and are turning to reusable sources. With reusable PPE being vastly more expensive, this has become difficult for many agencies to not only locate, but also purchase.
Our goal is to manufacture and distribute reusable gowns, face shields, and masks to our frontline healthcare workers all across the state of Ohio to keep our heroes safe!
If we surpass our goal, we will acquire additional masks, shields, and PPE for heroes until every last penny is spent.

We want to connect people to help other people. We are trying to build a data base of different organizations and companies that are in need of donations or help. We are also a marketplace that will introduce you to the circular economy. Because we know you also need things in lockdown, we want you to buy responsibly and we are offering you everything that you need for rent, or you can also buy used things with a small loan, donate your stuff, repair it or recycle. We can still help the planet during this quarantine!

We encourage the community to donate time and money to help those who are the most vulnerable in the ACT community including the homeless, victims of trauma and torture, refugees and anyone else who asks for help. We do not discriminate and we work together with established organisations such as Companion House, Vinnies, Salvos, Uniting Church and mosques to distribute food, clothing and assistance to those who need it.

We have created this event based on similar initiatives in Switzerland and Germany. Collecting data resources, providing challenges, mentoring teams, prizes and suggestions of next steps as they launch their projects are all things we could use help with. We would also be happy to support similar initiatives elsewhere around the world.
