Process
I accidentally tried preinfusing by raising the arms up slightly instead of raising the arms down slightly
I used the boiling water I used to preheat the espresso machine to preheat the portafilter. I collected the water into a mug and submerged the portafilter into a mug. This solved the problem I had last time I’d using a cup that was too small to properly accommodate the size the portafilter.
