SP25 UGBA 198 DeCal Application

Thank you for your interest in UGBA 198! Careers in Economics, Business & Beyond (also known as Introduction to Business Recruiting) is run by Berkeley Business Society (BBS), a student-run consulting organization on campus. By the end of the DeCal, enrolled students will have a holistic overview of recruitment into popular careers in business, including Consulting, Finance (investment banking + buy-side), Tech (SWE + PM), Law, and more. We will provide support on resume construction, networking/cold emails, and the landscape of various industries, as well as how to break into these careers. Classes will be Fridays 4-6PM at Chet Hall C125. First class is on Friday 2/7! This is a 2 Unit DeCal. Things to expect are: guest lectures from industry experts, mock job applications, resume reviews, and reading assignments. Attendance will be tracked and only one unexcused absence is allowed throughout the term, unless you email with extenuating circumstances before additional missed lectures. Application Deadline: Thursday, January 30th at 11:59pm PST First class: Week of February 3rd If accepted, you will be emailed a code to enroll in the class. If you do not respond by the deadline set, we will give your spot to someone else.
