This position works with youth ages 5-8. The YES Assistant will aid Junior and Senior Counselors in managing their groups of 8-12 children while at camp. The YES Assistant will be in constant contact with the children and interacting/encouraging them to participate in activities. They may help with set-up and clean-up of various athletic, art, or swimming activities. The YES Assistant reports directly to the camp counselors who in turn reports to the Camp Director & Recreation Program Specialist

This camp is primarily running, playing, and swimming outside with children. This may be physically demanding for someone who struggles with physical mobility. However, we can work with any interested candidates to make an inclusive job experience.
Circus Camp Assistants will work along side and take direction from Lead Teachers during our full day summer camps for youth ages 8-14. They are expected to be confident leading games, warm ups, and circus learning stations on their own. They will also be expected to take initiative and support with basic things like cleaning up after lunch, and connecting with campers during downtime.

Since this is a specialized camp, Circus Camp Assistants are required to have previous experience in the circus arts. They should feel comfortable leading games and warm ups as well and circus learning stations.
