5-Year Impact Report Lead

We are seeking a committed volunteer with a strong historical understanding of Neuromatch to lead the development and delivery of a five-year impact report, set for publication in May 2025. This report will showcase Neuromatch’s impact to date through qualitative and quantitative analysis of program data, alumni surveys, and engagement metrics across all our initiatives.

In this role, you will:

Report to the CEO and collaborate closely with the Program Director to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
Identify key alumni to highlight the impact of our programs through storytelling and case studies.
Work closely with the Evaluation Team, leveraging their quantitative analyses of our programs.
Collaborate with our founders to capture and articulate the origin story and evolution of Neuromatch.
Oversee the production and timely delivery of the report by May 2025.

A dedicated budget is available to engage an external Publication Designer to support the production of the report.

Department Chairs and the Project Manager are collectively responsible for planning and executing the Academy. This responsibility includes voting on key decisions, recruiting and overseeing volunteers to help run the Academy, and project managing tasks and timelines. Each member of the Executive Committee will Chair a corresponding Department. See each Chair’s role description for specific Departmental responsibilities.

Expectations:

Attend planning meetings that are required for your position. About one 1-hour meeting a week.
Let the Executive Facilitator or Project Manager know if you will be absent ahead of time
Be available for the Academy dates: July 8 - July 26 (some courses may only be 2 weeks)
Utilize Asana as our shared project management tool
Manage Department timeline
Recruit, onboard, and provide training for new volunteers so they can actively support the Department’s work
This responsibility is shared with Volunteer Coordinator, you will be expected to provide Department specific training and onboarding
Organize and facilitate meetings with your Department at a cadence that is appropriate for your work
Serve as the link between your Department and the rest of Academy planning
Surface any issues within your Department that need to be addressed at a higher level, including decisions that impact multiple departments
Recognize and appreciate your team!

Time Commitment:

All Executive Committee members should expect to contribute about 3 hours/week in the off season, 4-6 hours/week during the busy season (~April - August).
Some roles do require additional hours during the Academy itself.
