We are integrating the ROR records with a local database of organizations, and then linking this to our national CRIS.

ROR IDs are collected at the article level for all journal articles we publish. ROR IDs are embedded in the metadata and JATS XML and provided to downstream services after publication such as Crossref and OA Switchboard. To ensure quality and to reduce burden on the authors, the ROR IDs are collected before publication by our in-house production team using the API.
