Housing Justice Commission Steering Committee Elections Candidate Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Steering Committee member for DSA's Housing Justice Commission! Here's what you need to know: * This application will be open until November 17 at 11:59pm PT. * All information you provide, aside from your last name (we will use your last initial) and phone number, will be included in a candidates' packet and will be sent to all Housing Justice Commission members on November 20. * You *must* be a DSA member in good standing to participate, and remain a member in good standing for the length of your term. * Voting opens on December 1 and closes on December 8 at 11:59pm PT. * You will be informed of the results on December 9 (barring any unforeseen circumstances). * This Steering Committee's term begins on December 15 and concludes on September 30, 2024. About the Steering Committee: * The Steering Committee will be comprised of nine (9) members * No more than four (4) members will be cis men and at least four (4) will be non-white people for diverse representation. * No more than two (2) SC members may be from the same chapter.
