If you are in the Tri-State Area, join us for #NewFest35 as a volunteer! The 35th edition of The New York LGBTQ+ Film Festival will be taking place between October 12th-24th, 2023. To provide a safe experience for all NewFest filmmakers and audience members we encourage participants to wear masks to protect themselves and others against COVID-19. Have you volunteered with NewFest in the past?

Roles and responsibilities:

Volunteers will largely assist basic theater operations, however, other positions are also available! Please select any/all additional interests and we will assign you as needed! BOX OFFICE: Assist handing out credentials, looking up customer information, checking guest lists EVENTS: Assist at parties & event spaces MERCH/RAFFLE: Assist in selling merch and/or raffle tickets PHOTO/VIDEO: Required to have your own equipment! PRODUCTION: Assist building out spaces, obtaining and transporting gear, and other needs as they arise – may travel from venue to venue

Interested in becoming a key volunteer?

Looking for more of a leadership position with added responsibilities and a greater commitment? Key Volunteers assist checking in fellow volunteers, help lead the team, and take on more important tasks as they arise! May include additional perks!
