Community Spaces Booking Request Form

This form is for any University of Bristol student or staff looking to host a community event or activity in one of Bristol SU's Community Spaces: • The Bristol SU Living Rooms - Senate House • The Bristol SU Loft - Senate House • The Balloon Bar - The Richmond Building • Ground Floor Foyer - The Richmond Building To see availability in those spaces please see here: https://clemente7912.preview.softr.app/su-spaces-availability-calendar?show-toolbar=true We will only accept bookings for events that are appropriate to take place in an open community venue. Bookings should focus on giving students an opportunity to meet new people, try a new thing, or spend time together as a community. All applications are on a first come, first serve basis and are subject to approval by the Events team. Please ensure you answer all questions as fully as possible to support your event application. If you are a student looking for a private activity space instead - please call the SU student services team on 0117 331 8600 for an ad-hoc room booking. Please note the team is extremely busy and we aim to respond to requests within 5 working days. Please submit your request as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment. Event requests submitted with fewer than five working days' notice will not be accepted.

Which venue would you like to request a booking in?
We do not take exclusive bookings for our community spaces. Please select the space you'd like to host your event and we will send you an offer for which area we think will work best within that space e.g. Living Room 1 Breakfast Bar/ Activity tables.

Due to a high number of requests, we cannot always guarantee availability on specific dates.

Remember to include any set-up and pack-down time required before and after the event too.
Events in community spaces must promote community, therefore we ask that events in community spaces should be open to everyone.

Do you require any technical equipment or support?
Please note - we charge a small fee for any activity that requires a technician to be present. If you need a projector and screen you will need a HDMI port on your laptop, or to bring a suitable adaptor.
