Web3 and crypto leaders face two major public relations challenges in their role.
First, the decentralized nature of web3 protocols means there’s a global community and governance layer to communicate with.
Second, crypto founders are often required to educate the public about blockchain technology while simultaneously battling its stigma. That’s a tough ask for anybody, so I think the traditional PR and marketing rule book has to be relooked at and tailored for web3.
Here is a guide from lessons learnt from experience helping founders tell their stories across the bull and bear markets of crypto.

* The importance of knowing your audience and tailoring your message to them

Different categories of NFTs are reviewed. It will be discussed why some types of NFTs like PFPs are gaining popularity. NFTs could be viewed as an essential missing part for internet native communities. Some of the recent innovations are discussed.
Minting an NFT should not be the only step in community activations, just a part of a larger experience. We can build more fun, engaging, retaining journeys for more bidirectional value exchange with members.
Sriram is a general partner at a16z crypto, informal advisor to Elon Musk on the Twitter revamp, and a former Twitter and Facebook engineer. Hear his thoughts on decentralized tech potential for consumer apps and beyond.
On Discord and Twitter, it's raining airdrops, whitelist spots and rewards. DAOs and dapps are in search of diamond hands to pump token prices and talent to grow and develop apps, protocols and ecosystems.
As web3 emerges, decentralization, pseudo-anonymity and tokenization will drastically affect the relationships between marketers and audiences, maybe even flipping thee web2 model on its head. Users may well end up in control of their data and marketers may begin delivering value to users rather than extracting it.
I'll explore these topics through concrete examples and describe how we got here and the challenges we face moving forward.
