Student Application: Spring 2024

Thank you for your interest in the Venture Intern Program. We are currently accepting applications for the Spring 2024 cohort. Please apply by October 20, 2023 11:59pm to be considered for the program. This program is open to juniors and seniors in good standing from any discipline at the University of Arkansas. Students should be prepared to wear many hats and maintain a high degree of professionalism and autonomy. Eligibility & Expectations

Students who apply for the Venture Intern Program must meet the following eligibility requirements and understand the expectations of the program outside of the actual work with the company. ELIGIBILITY To be eligible for this program, students must: - be a currently enrolled junior or senior at the University of Arkansas - be eligible to enroll in a minimum of one credit hour of co-op credit in their respective college (confirm with academic advisor in your college that you are eligible) - have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (Applicants who do not meet this GPA threshold but who have otherwise exceptional qualifications may be considered.) PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS Students who participate in this program must: - be able to work at least 15 hours per week for 12 weeks - attend a program orientation on January 19, 2024 - participate in the following during the semester: - Trainings & workshops - Regular cohort meetings with other interns - Mid-semester check-in with supervisor - Closing Networking Event BENEFITS - Compensation will be $15.06 per hour for 15 hours of work per week (on average). - Co-op/Internship Credit: All participating students must enroll in a minimum of 1 credit hour and should work with their respective college to set this up. Different requirements are in place for each individual college at the University of Arkansas.
