Drive climate action in the Changemaker Labs program at GreenHouse! Winter 2025 Offerings: Food Futures: Participate in weekly sessions combining hands-on greenhouse upkeep with engaging workshops and discussions led by a different guest speaker each week. Topics include garden mapping, pickling, Indigenous worldviews, and more. Materials and an optional community dinner are provided—come ready to learn and share! Tuesdays from 4:30-6:00PM. ** Jan 21 - Canning workshop with Waterloo Indigenous Student Centre - please note your interest in this session in last box so we have enough supplies for folks :) SDG Blender: mix, mingle, and gear up for the big March 15th Sustainability Impact Summit! Engage your mind on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with student advocates from SDG Impact Alliance and Young & Restless! Thursday February 6 from 4-6PM Sustainability Impact Summit: The Young & Restless Sustainability Impact Summit aims to bring together thought leaders, change-makers, and innovative companies to share insights, inspire action, and recognize outstanding initiatives aligned with the SDGs. Saturday March 15 from 12-5PM. Incentives: * Free food! * Receive $20 in digital gift cards for completing our pre and post experience survey * Earn credit toward the new UW Sustainability Leadership Certificate * Meet new people and drive change on campus and in the community!
