National Naloxone Distribution to First Nations
Thunderbird Partnership Foundation has acquired Naloxone kits to distribute to our stakeholders to support First Nations communities and addictions treatment programs in responding to toxic drug use and toxic drug poisoning. Naloxone is an important tool in reversing opioid poisoning and preventing death for those who use opioids or other substances containing opioids. The Naloxone kits include: · 1 reusable case (pencil case style) · 2 doses of 4 mg naloxone hydrochloride nasal spray · 1 CPR face shield · 1 pair of latex gloves · 1 Opioid Overdose instruction card The kits are available now, with a maximum 25 available per organization.
