The Northwestern Mutual Black Founder Accelerator program is focused on addressing barriers to financial equity and expanding financial access for tech startups aligned to Northwestern Mutual’s key strategic areas of focus including fintech, insurtech, digital health and data analytics Eligibility for the Accelerator program is designed to support those entrepreneurs who have been historically underserved in accessing capital. Such circumstances could include, but are not limited to, entrepreneurs and startups from economically disadvantaged communities that have faced systemic barriers to funding, financial access, inclusion or prosperity. The program seeks applicants demonstrating a viable business model, growth potential and a clear vision for leveraging the program’s resources. This inclusive approach aims to bridge the gap in capital accessibility, fostering a diverse and innovative landscape. Applicants should submit their applications with a short statement discussing their personal circumstances and/or challenges that supports the eligibility criteria.
