Derby Entrepreneurship Center @Tufts: 2024-2025 Entrepreneurial Internship Job Board

The Derby Entrepreneurship Center’s Entrepreneurial Internship Job Program connects hiring managers from startups, small businesses, nonprofits, or new programs within large companies or government agencies with Tufts students for internships. Through this program, students are compensated either through academic credit during the spring and fall semesters or a grant funding stipend for the summer, while early-stage companies can bring on interns without direct financial obligations. We are currently accepting internship listings for the following terms: - Spring 2025 (3 credits) - Summer 2025 (students can apply for a $4,500 DEC internship grant) - Fall 2025 (3 credits) Internships must be inherently innovative and entrepreneurial (for example, the applicant will be helping to build a new venture or new product/business line, or the company itself is a new venture and the student will be able to help build it up from the ground up with the founding team). Employers should post their internship roles separately for each semester they can offer them, both on this platform and on Handshake, Tufts University's job listing service. Please note that this service is for roles compensated through the program; paid internships should not be listed here. This list is shared with Tufts students and alumni and reaches 5000+ newsletter recipients including undergraduate and graduate students, across 11 schools and colleges. Questions? Email us at entrepreneurship@tufts.edu with the subject "DEC Internships".
